Windows Deployment Services is a free and included feature of Windows Server that helps you deploy and manage Windows operating systems. It is a part of the Remote Server Administration Tools (RSAT) and features include: — Automating the installation of Windows updates and patches — Verifying and troubleshooting Windows updates — Deploying Windows images or updates to mobile devices — Configuring and monitoring Windows updates — Automating recovery from an image or update — Managing and updating Windows images using MDT.
